The International Relations Office was established in 2018 in order to respond to the rapid development and concentration in the international academic relations of Izmir Demokrasi University and to gain a respected place by collaborating with international institutions and organizations.

The mission of our office is in line with the mission and vision of our university; to enable our students and lecturers to gain international experience in education and research activities, to help students and scientists from foreign universities cooperate with our university, and to contribute to the development of both our university and Izmir by making maximum use of international programs and projects. Likewise, the vision of our office is in line with the vision of our university; to ensure the effective communication of our university with the national and international community, to provide the flow of information about the best opportunities in the world and to provide expertise on how to benefit from them.
